Job Title: Large Format Production Assistant & Installer
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: 18K - 22K
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30 - 17.30 (The job role will require some overtime and out-of-hours installations)

Job Role:

Xpress Group are looking for a large format print and installation assistant to work alongside our experienced production team in producing a variety of printed products.

The candidate will work alongside our experienced print and production team – running HP Latex printers, finishing (cutting, weeding and application of vinyl's) and complete daily maintenance, help with the finishing team to assemble products, as well as pack goods for despatch, receive deliveries, cut all materials and help around the print department where needed. This is a varied job in a fast-paced environment, with big opportunity to regularly learn new skills and become an important part of a tight knit team.

Xpress Group have been creating beautiful large and small format print and signage since 1991. We work across a wide variety of B2B sectors – our clients include the UK’s hub airports, retail, event and exhibitions, health, education, science and engineering.

We are currently looking for an all-rounder with a positive attitude for the production and installation of large format graphics and signage to join our team. Previous industry experience would be preferred, but not essential as training will be provided for all aspects of the job for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Laying up vinyl and digital print

· Large format print and production using industry standard software

· Laminating & mounting

· Installation of large format graphics, signage and vinyl

· Ensuring that goods are produced efficiently and of high quality

· You will be based in Manor Royal, Crawley, with some driving to sites within the South East for installations.

Additional tasks:

· Artworking, light type setting (Adobe Creative Suite - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & Acrobat)

· Pre-Press: Checking, Pre-flighting & Imposing small format print jobs.

· Exporting & ripping large format print ready files.

Preferred requirements:

· Experience in production of large format graphics and signage

· Installation experience

· Full UK driving licence

· PASMA qualifications* – Desired but not essential

· IPAF qualifications* – Desired but not essential
*Training can be provided to the right candidate
