Bakery Assistant

We are looking for a team member to join our bakery team. You’ll be supporting our Bakery Manager and team in the daily preparations of a range of traditional slab cakes. Candidate if accepted will be sent on a Level 2 Food Safety & Manufacturing paid on the company's behalf.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support our current baking team
• To maintain the company’s vision and ethos.
• To prepare, develop and maintain high quality products.
• To ensure all products are baked to a high standard both safely and legally
• To ensure that you are correctly dressed, adhere to high personal hygiene standards
• Candidate will be expected to learn all aspects of our production line which will include Cooking, Depositing, Post Cook Prep, Packing and Weighing of Ingredients
• Candidate will be expected to work our production hours of 6:30 am - 5pm (hours will vary dependent on customer requirements)

Skills and Experience

• Passionate about baking and food in general
• Must be highly organized with attention to detail
• Great attitude and willingness to learn and progress
• Calm and efficient in a busy environment
• Must be strong as position will include some heavy lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £5.28-£10.50 per hour

• Llandeilo: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
