Role title: Analytics Architect
Role purpose
To support the definition, articulation and governance of the End-2-End B2B Data Architecture across local markets and global business functions supporting our business customers globally. The global vertical business functions include Vodafone Global Enterprise, Vodafone Carrier Services, Internet of Things, Managed Mobility, Unified Comms & Connectivity and Cloud & Hosting Services, each with their own portfolio of products and services, and relevant business functions in Group Technology. Key responsibilities will include:
Creating target state and interim state architectures- Creating value driven capability roadmaps
- Reviewing, aligning and governing local market and global business function solutions
- Providing technology / tool recommendations and leading associated evaluations
- Maintaining reference architectures
- Driving innovation
- Shaping new demand aligning it to target architecture
- Creating and maintaining Architecture Guidelines, Principles and Patterns
This role would be reporting to the Principal Data Enterprise Architect who works across these domains, learning the Enterprise Architect processes and supporting any design activities needed in order to facilitate the key decisions.
Long Description
With us you will:
- Participate in the creation and maintenance and publish the IT Architecture and Strategy, Work with Local Market Architecture Leads to align local strategy, architecture and roadmap to the overall IT Architecture and Strategy, Enterprise Data Model and IT Roadmap.
- Participate in the design and execution of Architectural Governance across the relevant stakeholders and participating Vodafone organizations
- Produce, Support & Guide the Delivery of Target, Transitional and Solution Architectures for business and IT transformation deliveries through the appropriate Architectural Artefacts, Deliverables and Communications
- Build and Evolve the maturity of Architecture Communications, Awareness and the Architecture Repository and undertake appropriate communications and engagement management across all stakeholders
- Support the early life definition of Programmes and Projects including Shaping and Definition of scope, and input into Business Cases e.g. Scoping, Estimation, Impact Analysis, Procurement Scoping and Quality Assurance etc.

Able to gain influence at senior and technical expert levels across Vodafone Local Markets, Platforms and Group functions. Able to adjust own style to suit audience and achieve objectives
- Experience of Google Cloud Technology - Demonstrable experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, Data Modelling, BI tools and Data migrations to Google Cloud
- Preferably industry experience in Telecoms including business customers and business product portfolios
- Sound overall knowledge and ability to learn of applications and data architecture methodologies and industry best practices e.g. TOGAF, SAFe®, TMForum Open Digital Architecture, Open API, API technologies
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Appropriate technology qualifications, in line with requirements of role.- Google Cloud Qualifications. (Examples include: Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Database Engineer, Data Engineer)
- Knowledge of TOGAF
