We are currently recruiting for a Coating Operator to join a leading firm in Stonehouse. The firm in question operates in 5 different continents and provides services for a range of different industries from aerospace to automotive and oil and gas.
As Coating Operator you will:
- Prepare customer products for spraying including cleaning, masking and blasting
- Operate semi-automatic equipment using predetermined programmes
- Plasma spray customer products
- Monitor and maintain section consumables
- Be culpable for the stock control of powder and ensure it is stored in neat and tidy manner
- Strip coating from Jigs / fixtures
- Be involved in goods Inwards inspection of received products
- Ensure machines / Spray Booths are operated according to site and manufacturers recommendations
- Use your ability to read engineering drawings
This is a days regular role with an early Friday finish, great salary, pension and additional employee benefits.
