Role Overview & Responsibilities
Vanta Staffing are looking for a warehouse operative to start immediately. You will preparing orders accurately and delivering in a timely manner. You must have a clean valid UK driving license and have atleast 2 years’ experience in a warehouse. Also with a valid counterbalance forklift license.
Duties of the Warehouse Operative
- Picking and packing the orders.
- Driving and moving company vans in the yard.
- General lifting approximately 15kg+.
- Load/offload vehicles, complete correct paperwork.
- Operative counterbalance forklift trucks.
- Clean company vehicles.
- Restock and scan empty bins.
- Comply with Health and Safety procedures.
- Using computer, Microsoft Programs.
Requirements of the Warehouse Operative
- Must have a valid, clean driving license.
- Valid counterbalance forklift license.
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or factory setting.
- Must be physically able to lift 15kg +.
Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm
Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
30 mins unpaid lunch
Pay per hour is £12, weekly pay
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
