Marketing Executive (Cookstown) (28-30k)

VANRATH have partnered with an ambitious Jewellery company that is rapidly expanding their international roots. The organisation is recruiting for a Marketing Executive position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Marketing experienced individual to join a longstanding company that offers many routes for progression.

A marketing executive is required to assist our wholesale domestic business in its planned growth. You will establish a clear marketing strategy to support sales growth, increased brand awareness and increased online presence. We are looking for a focused ambitious person with a passion for jewellery and a creative flair.

Hours

Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm (Office-based)

Salary
£28,000-£30,000 (depending on experience) plus a fantastic benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the wholesale website, uploading products, images and writing descriptions.
• Undertake research and analysis of the market opportunities for the company’s products/services in our chosen markets
• Identify and implement new sales strategies in our market place in line with agreed sales targets
• Source advertising opportunities to increase brand awareness among our target customers
• Undertake a range of marketing and promotional activities for the company including mailshots, press releases, exhibitions, promotional literature aimed at securing additional sales for the company’s products and services.
• Preparation and delivery of monthly reports as required to the sales team and senior management
• Work with external design agencies and free lancers to deliver branding and marketing material
• Work with our customers marketing departments to support them in selling our products
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships and sales
• Play a role in developing and launching new products including organising photo shoots
• Play a role in developing the annual product catalogue.
• Organise and attend trade shows in the UK and internationally.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Educated to a degree level in relevant discipline
• 2 years experience
• the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions;
• sound decision-making skills and the ability to plan and prioritise;
• excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Self starter, as the role will give a high level autonomy.
• Innovative with vision and creativity
• Experience working with design agencies & freelancers
• Experience in working with mailchimp or similar email marketing software
