Salary: £55,000-£57,000 (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits

From mission-critical systems that govern the movement of trains to London-wide payment systems, technology underpins everything we do. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll be working with stakeholders from all parts of the business, helping them define and solve diverse business problems. You’ll be able to cut through the noise and quickly make sense of complex issues, offering insightful analysis and recommendations for change. You’ll be comfortable working with our technology delivery teams to ensure customer and stakeholder needs are at the core of our decision-making.

Our Team

  • You’ll be part of a large, successful Business Analysis team, with over 100 Business Analysts. Working together, sharing knowledge and experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Our aim is to become an example of public service excellence in the technology and data domain.

Key Portfolios

Our Key Portfolios Include:

  • Payments, including continuous improvement and innovation projects to help support our customers
  • Digital, working with our digital suite of products, supporting colleagues to work better and more collaboratively
  • Asset Management, upgrading and introducing new solutions
  • ERP transformation, including upgrading our SAP platform and procuring new solutions to support our staff
  • Operational projects, supporting our colleagues in Bus, Underground and London Rail operations

Financial impact

  • We are involved in the delivery of multi-million-pound projects
  • We support a range of spend to save initiatives, delivering value and cost savings to the business and our customers

Key interfaces

  • Our internal stakeholders are from all areas of TfL; customer facing operational colleagues, support colleagues and our change management colleagues
  • External stakeholders can include our customers, suppliers and delivery partners and business partners

Skills

  • Problem solving and striving for continuous improvement and efficiencies wherever you spot an opportunity to do so
  • Applying your understanding of Business Analysis techniques and attention to detail to produce business requirements and process documentation, feasibility studies and options analysis
  • Communicating complex information in a clear and engaging manner to stakeholders across the business and manage expectations

Experience

  • Sharing knowledge, experience, and expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Eliciting and documenting business processes and requirements, ensuring customer and stakeholder needs are met, while continuing to push for excellence and innovation.
  • Working throughout the technology project lifecycle in Agile and Waterfall environment
  • Technology-based procurement projects that have large scale business impacts
  • Planning your day-to-day business analysis activities
