Night Shift Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Seafood Wholesaler in Glasgow is currently seeking a dependable and punctual candidate to join our team as a Night Shift Warehouse Worker. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to receive, sort, and store seafood products.
• Operate basic computer programs and software to assist with order processing.
• Work with other members of staff to ensure orders are dispatched correctly
• Assisting drivers with loading deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring that products are stored properly and safely.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a night shift schedule, including weekends (Friday into Saturday only)
• Strong work ethic and reliability, with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using software for invoice data entry
• Our working days are Monday - Saturday, a 5 day working week may be possible ( a day off mid week).
