Job Title: Full-Stack Engineer
Location: Fully remote
Position Summary: Are you seeking an exciting and unique challenge in the world of finance and technology? I am working with an innovative team to find a Full-Stack Engineer to play a crucial role in transforming their investment systems into a more efficient and sustainable framework. You will have the opportunity to shape their platforms, influence their strategies, and become an integral part of their growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to analyse and plan the restructuring of our existing systems for optimal performance.
- Develop robust and scalable solutions using JavaScript (ES6+), Node, Mongo, Vue, and Typescript.
- Take ownership of the front-end architecture, leveraging your expertise in Vue to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members, fostering collaboration and sharing insights.
- Embrace continuous improvement by applying best practices, conducting code reviews, and implementing test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, contributing innovative ideas to enhance our technical capabilities.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node, Mongo, Vue, and Typescript.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git, for collaborative development.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously while being a team player.
- Bonus points for familiarity with AWS, Lambda, and previous experience in TDD methodologies.
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, commensurate with experience.
