Role Overview & Responsibilities

T G Harris & son are a long established Farming Business.

Hands-on Operations Manager - Essex/Suffolk Border

1,700 Acres including Combinable Crops/Sugarbeet and a small Beef Herd

This long established farming business seeks an experienced hands-on operations manager to work alongside the current management team to lead the day to day operations on the farm. A good understanding and experience of farming operations, cultivations, decision making, estate maintenance and leadership are essential. Responsibilities will also include operating the sprayer, cultivations, combine driving and any other farming duties. There is also a small beef herd, so experience with cattle would be ideal.

This role requires extremely high standards, great attention to detail, the ability to work unsupervised with leadership skills. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated and demonstrate the necessary experience to fulfil the role.

PA1 & PA2 & Forklift certificates are essential along with good workshop skills.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

• Operations management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• PA1, PA2 and Telehandler? (preferred)
