Waiting Staff

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a waiting staff to join a friendly team at the Sultan of Lancaster

Duties will include:

• Managing the restaurant service
• Knowledge of the menu with guest recommendations
• Supervising and leading the restaurant team
• Serve food to guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Reporting all comments/complaints/problems to the restaurant manager

Requirements:

• Candidate must be reliable and honest
• Attentiveness and patience for customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Team spirit
• Flexibility to work in shifts (the restaurant is open 5 – 11 pm)

If candidates do not live with in the area then transport can be arranged if from Blackburn or Preston

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

Salary: £4.81-£10.50 per hour
