Role Overview & Responsibilities

Data Analyst - Junior / Graduate Level
Southampton + remote working options (Monthly visits to the office)
Salary up to £35k + benefits

  • Southampton based office

An well-established business based in Southampton is looking for a graduate/junior data analyst to come and join their talented tech team. They are well-known in the environment & sustainability industry and are looking to improve how they utilise and analyse their data.

As a data analyst, you will be working closely within the data and insights team to provide support with reporting and data analysis. You'll be utilising SQL knowledge to analyse date and, with support from the senior team, providing insights and reports to improve company's sustainability.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in the use of SQL
  • Maths / Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or similar educational background (Relevant industry experience also considered)
  • The ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Established advanced user of Microsoft Excel

Beneficial skills:

  • Experience with Power BI or other similar products (e.g. Tableau)
  • Prior knowledge of data visualisation and reporting techniques

This role will offer the right candidate to train into a senior position by working closely with the Head of Data Analytics and receive extensive training on data analytics and BI tools.
