Role Overview & Responsibilities
Cameron Toll, Edinburgh
Salary based on experience level
Bonus paying on target earnings of up to £2,000 per annum
Full time 40 hours available (Weekend work is essential) – flexibility on working pattern (allows for early starts and late working)

On multiple bus routes
Has regular joint team events with other stores
Experience working in an optical lab required
At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.
With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customer’s spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:
- Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
- Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
- Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
- Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
You’ll be friendly, organised and ready to take on this hands-on role using your previous experience, and knowledge of what a successful lab looks like!
