Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Support Worker to join an experienced and long-standing staff team at Jasmine House, Hampshire. We use a person-centred approach focusing on supporting people to make their own choices, follow their own interests and gain independence. We empower people to choose how they want to live their life.

Main purpose of the Support Worker role

  • To effectively work with your colleagues to promote the health, independence, choice respect, dignity, rights, safety and welfare of the residents at all times.
  • To act in a professional manner as a representative of the Company at all times.
  • To support the Home Manager and Senior Support Workers in the smooth running of the home.
  • To work as part of a team with all your colleagues.
  • To complete all daily, weekly and monthly records and documentation as required.

About the service

Jasmine House provides support and accommodation for up to five adults with mild learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism.

Staff at Jasmine House have shown proven effectiveness in contributing to the quality of life of the residents, whilst maintaining a comfortable and friendly environment.

Salary details

  • £11 per hour

Work pattern

  • Typical Shifts are 8am - 9pm (day shift) and 9pm - 8am (night shift) including weekends on a Rota
