School Crossing Patrol

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Required start: September 2023

We currently have vacancies for motivated individuals to join our friendly and committed School Crossing Patrol team working across the Solihull Borough. As a highly valued member of the community, you will provide a vital service as you ensure the safety of children and their families crossing the road on their journeys to and from school.

Required mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday on a term time only basis, we have vacancies at:

• Green Lane Castle Bromwich – Part time 7.5 hours per week - required 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon (normally between 08.25-09.10am and 15:00-15:45pm)
• St Bernards Road, Olton - Part time 8.75 hours per week - 45 minutes in the morning and 60 minutes in the afternoon (normally between 08.00-08.45am and 14:45-15:45pm).

As a member of our reliable and enthusiastic School Crossing Patrol team, you will have experience of dealing with people, as well as great verbal communication skills. You will also need to have an awareness of the need for safety within this role and be physically able to handle a stop sign.
