Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role: Warehouse - Multi Role Operative
Location: Chesterfield
Contract type, Full time (38 hours Mon - Fri), overtime will be required, where necessary.
2 shift work pattern, Mornings: 6am - 2pm/Afternoons: 2pm - 10pm

The successful candidate will join the warehouse team to manage goods inwards, picking, packing & dispatch of products to customers, whilst maintaining excellent delivery performance. We support and encourage all our employees with their personal development to reach their full potential.
Role
Goods inwards, picking, packing & dispatch of products to customers – maintaining excellent delivery performance. For this role you must have an in date counterbalance license, a combi license additionally to this would be hugely beneficial.
Key Tasks
Maintaining standards of Health, Safety & Environment, in the working environment e.g.:- training, training records & PPE adherence.
Liaising with the Commercial Department, suppliers and Logistics Manager
Pick , Pack & loading of products out to customers.
The efficient utilisation of space and handling of equipment.
Use of automated and computerised systems where utilised
Maintain warehouse systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy
Keeping the storage yards & Locations accurate
Ensuring that loads are complete and in full before being dispatched
Performance Measures
Stock accuracy – measurable by 6 monthly stock checks
Despatch errors – measurable by the number of associated Customer Complaints
Follow Procedures and Quality Matters
Housekeeping
Internal Transport charges for late delivery
Interfaces
Customers (internal and external)
Hauliers and carriers
All levels of staff within the company
Reporting toDispatch Supervisors
