This exciting role will be part of the UKInstallation and Commissioning (I&C) team reporting directly to the I&CInstallation Manager

We are looking for experiencedmultiskilled Mechanical / Electrical technicians to work within a team on installation activities UK wide.

Your profile

  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalentqualification with proven experience.
  • Excellent communication andorganisational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work withminimal supervision.
  • Proactiveattitude to problem solving.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Your responsibilities

  • AMechanical / Electrical technician is to perform skilled work in the operation,construction, maintenance, and repair of high voltage electrical substations,and other related electrical and mechanical equipment associated with high voltageelectric substations
  • Comply with all Health and Safety, Environmental & QualityPlans and know their duties to be discharged in each case. Carrying out actionsand assist in creating required documentation within the project milestonedates.
  • Assist in the production of method statements and riskassessments, stopping work and reviewing RAMS with the Work Party Leader asrequired.

Experience

  • It would be desirable to have experience as part of a team on an Electricity SupplyIndustry construction site or similar (Power Generation, Oil & Gas orGeneral Construction Sites).
  • Experienced preferred inparticipating in site activities comprising of primary and secondary plantinstallation complying with health, safety, quality and environmentallegislation and practice within a substation environment.
