Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Women's & Children's Division are looking to appoint a part-time temporary Clinical Typist on a fixed term basis for 6 months to work in the Community Paediatric Team to support the Looked After Children's IHA report typing. The main purpose of the role is to provide a high quality clinical typing service to a team of Consultants, supporting the Patient Pathway Coordinators

You must:
  • Be computer literate with excellent keyboard skills.
  • Have good general education including English GCSE at grade C
  • Audio Typing Experience is a must
  • Have experience of working within an office environment / experience of audio typing clinical letters is desirable.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Be a good team member
