Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint a number of new Exam Invigilators to join our current team supporting the smooth running of examinations at Sheffield Hallam University.
This role will allow you to work flexibly, on a casual basis, during the university’s exam periods. Exams take place throughout the academic year, but our busiest periods are in January, April-June and late summer.
A typical day will cover exams starting at 9am and 2pm.
As an invigilator, you will assist with the laying out of stationery before each examination and ensure that correct policy and procedures are followed during the exam. The University has a diverse range of exams taking place in both large and small venues, and both paper and PC-based exams.
Full training will be provided.
This post would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is calm, approachable, and punctual with a flexible attitude, a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain the integrity and security of exams.
How to Apply:
If you would like to apply, please email a written expression of interest (no more than 1 side of A4) to: exams@shu.ac.uk This should outline your relevant skills and experience, and why you would like to come and work with us.
Once we have received this, we will arrange to meet with you for an informal interview and to complete the necessary paperwork.
For any queries about the role, please email: exams@shu.ac.uk
This is a rolling advert and may close earlier than advertised. Once a certain number of applications are received, they will be processed at regular intervals.
