About the role, what will I be doing?

MISSION: To assist in the overall operation of the Safety and Security department in the protection of hotel, its assets, guest & employee property. To ensure guest & employee safety in accordance with operational standards & relevant legislation. To

assist in the compliance of H&S for the Hotel.

• 
  As Security Officer, you are the custodian of our property and assets. Your role is to ensure that through your knowledge and passion for your trade, our security team will constantly aim to maintain the highest standards of safety for all our guests and employees to enjoy.
• Patrols of the property, Access Control, First Aid Reports, Lost
• Monitoring and responding to alarms, assisting guests/employees during emergency situations
• Reporting to scenes of accidents / incidents and complete reports where applicable, resolving safety hazards and being first on the scene to any security or safety alarms.
• Support the Security and Health and Safety manager on the overall H&S of the Hotel by ensuring compliance of the H&S legislation.
• Report Writing/Statement Taking
• Develop a Full understanding of Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and current legislation concerning Powers of Arrest and Evidential Procedures
• Have understanding of Equality Act 2010 (Previously DDA)
