Role Overview & Responsibilities

Creative Services company working on Theme Park, Film and Exhibition projects, is looking for an workshop assistant to join their expanding team, working at their Birmingham / Castle Vale studio. Our company is a global leader in the Theme Parks, Resorts, Attractions, Experiences and Film & TV industries, boasting an impressive client list.

We are looking for an individual to support our Workshop Manager. This is a role primarily based in the workshop. The candidate would manage our environmental and waste / recycling management system, make deliveries and collections, driving the forklift and loading and unloading lorries (training available), taking in deliveries and quality checking those as well as logging such deliveries in our quality management system. The candidate would take care of machine maintenance, manage consultant machine testing and safety logs, report on stock levels and consumables requirements, manage sundries and prepare tool kits for installations. The candidate would need to comply with our environmental, quality management and health and safety policies.

Key requirements:

  • Driving license
  • A broad knowledge of different trades, materials and tools
  • Organised and attentive to detail
  • Computer literate. Proficient in basic Excel.
  • Valid forklift license would be a bonus but not a requirement

This role is available immediately.

Salary negotiable
