More about the role:
- You’ll own the design and development of large-scale high performance services using technologies such as React, Kafka and MongoDB Atlas. This includes websites, apps, micro-services and event driven
- You’ll design and support services that enhance Sainsbury’s capabilities
- You’ll be part of a collaborative team
- You’ll work on all parts of the stack
- You’ll work in an development environment
- Mentor and develop others around you
- Work with product owners to understand business/product requirements
- Share knowledge with the wider engineering community
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of Javascript, MongoDB Atlas, and Kafka
- Distributed version control systems such as Git
- Experience with pipelines
- Understanding of TDD and BDD
- Reactjs Knowledge
- Azure cloud usage
- Github Actions
- Kubernetes
- .Net 6 / C#
The ideal candidate will also have:
Experience with one or more of the following-
- Docker
- Confluent Kafka
- SASS
- Jest
- Cypress
- Understanding of /scrum
