Your activities


As Project Engineer in Control and Instrumentation (C&I) you will support our national and international (large-scale) projects with a focus on various technologies such as hydrogen, battery storage or combined cycle power plants and make an enormous contribution to the energy transition.   • Basic engineering of control system and network architecture for new projects
  • Concept planning for telecontrol connections to SCADA systems
  • Design and programming of control functions
  • Modification of automation technology to optimise ongoing operation
  • Preparation of tender documents as well as bid review and evaluation
  • Planning and execution of projects in all phases
  • Optimisation of internal processes and standardisation of technical solutions


Your profile

  • Degree in process control engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering or comparable
  • Professional and project experience in the chemical or energy industry
  • Desire to work in (large-scale) projects and to accompany them through all project phases - from planning to commissioning
  • Passion for future-oriented technologies to secure our energy supply
  • Willingness to travel at home and abroad
  • Very good written and spoken English skills

  • An expected starting salary from £60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience and up to 15% annual bonus
