Role Overview & Responsibilities

WRc is seeking a Project Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis to join our team in Swindon with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

You will provide project administration and coordination support to our Technical Services team. Succesful candidates will have prior experience as a Project Assistant / Coordinatior or Office Support / Administrator.

WRc is one of the UK’s most innovative and independent environmental and engineering consultancies. This is an exciting opportunity to join our company during a time of business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination and administrative support for projects to ensure successful project delivery
  • Coordinate project resources and monitor availability/task allocation to avoid schedule clashes or inefficiencies
  • Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive project progress and other reports to various audiences
  • Assist in the creation of project documentation in line with company standards and procedures

Person Specification

  • Project or office support / administrative experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 products, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience of using business analysis tools such as PowerBI
  • Experience in environments where organisation and teamwork has been essential
  • Excellent communication with a proven record of building strong relationships with clients, teams and stakeholders

Salary and Benefits
