What You'll Do

The Role

Do you want to design, build and deliver games that thousands of people will play on some of the world's most popular gambling platforms?

From Virgin Games, to Jackpotjoy, the United Kingdom to New Jersey; we build games that are truly international and enjoyed by thousands of players, daily.

You’ll be working in a small semi-autonomous team with 3 other front-end developers. Once you’re comfortable with the code base you’ll be encouraged to take responsibility for planning, developing and delivering new slot games, usually working as the sole front end developer on each project. You’ll be supported by artists, QAs, producers and others to help you along the way.

Taking an inner-source approach we have created a shared game framework designed to build and deliver high-quality slot games, our framework wraps around the Pixi.js rendering engine, with components written in TypeScript.

We have numerous and exciting challenges to go after that will see you not only develop games but give you the opportunity to expand on our automation framework, build standalone tools or even develop fun new game types.

We’re after a passionate TypeScript game developer at our central London based games studios.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, coding, writing and running unit tests, and debugging complex service-oriented systems.
• Perform analysis and provide technical recommendations for internal bugs and field issues.
• Follow company and team guidelines while working on a problem or implementing a feature.
• Works with Software Architects, Product Managers, product developers, subject matter experts and others on assigned modules.
• Ability to take on tasks and drive to completion while working with stakeholders as needed
• Good inter-personal skills. Should be a good team player.
• Other duties as assigned.
