Production Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Production Operators (Plastic Extrusion)

• Average - 42 hours per week (7 Shifts a fortnight)
• 12hr Continental Shifts
• 2 weeks day shift followed by 2 weeks nights all 7 to 7

Duties include

• Work in a busy plastic extrusion facility
• Operating equipment and machinery on the production line
• Adhering to health and safety procedures onsite
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor
• Working as part of a team
• Performing other tasks as assigned

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in a factory would be ideal
• Self-motivated and high energy
• Willingness to learn and a strong team player
• Good understanding of spoken / written English
• Ensure production demands and customer requirements are met
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Applicants need to be physically fit and able to be standing for prolonged periods
• Right to work in NI / UK established (or proof of application)
• Good sense of safety and working safely

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in a similar role/industry
• Experience of working continental shifts
• Possession of a valid Counterbalance/Forklift licence
