Our client, a prominent producer of timber architecture, is seeking a skilled and creative Contract Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a leading player in the industry, they specialize in designing innovative products that seamlessly blend form and function, all crafted from the timeless beauty of timber.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the architectural team to develop and refine designs for timber-based products.

Assist in creating architectural drawings, models, and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively.

Conduct research on timber materials, construction techniques, and sustainability practices to inform design decisions.

Utilize the Rhino software package to develop accurate and precise 3D models and technical drawings.

Contribute to the development of construction documents and specifications for timber-based projects.

Requirements:

Proven experience working in architectural roles, preferably with a focus on timber architecture.

Proficiency in using Rhino software package for 3D modelling, rendering, and drafting.

Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and construction methods.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

The role will be remote working following a initial day onsite at our clients offices in Bristol.
