Role Overview & Responsibilities

Based in the heart of South Wales, OP Chocolate Ltd has been baking quality wafers for over 75 years. Our aim is to delight our customers by consistently delivering high quality products, and our goal is to be recognised as the finest quality manufacturer of wafer products. We bake a range of moulded wafers and biscuits and produce chocolate bars and a mallow range in our factory. We have full time, permanent vacancies for hygiene operatives; you will typically be involved in:

· Maintaining and cleaning work areas

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Follow written and spoken instructions, and production schedules.
  • Pay attention to detail even when tasks are repetitive.
  • Be able to act quickly when a problem arises.
  • Have good standards of literacy.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Be flexible with their approach to working hours.

We have shifts available, including:

Days and Afternoon Rotational Shifts

Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm. Friday 6am to 1:15pm.

Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm. Friday 1:15pm to 8:30pm.

Having your own transport and previous experience of working in a fast placed food manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but is not essential. Successful candidates will be required to obtain Food Safety Level 2 certificate; this will be arranged by the Company. Other benefits of working with OP Chocolate include:
