Role Overview & Responsibilities

Title: Operations Director

NuLeaf is entering an extremely busy period and we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified and experienced Operations Director. We are a small, family-run, company and we are looking for someone with a flexible, can-do attitude, who is willing to travel and work for short periods in Europe.

As the Operations Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's mission to reduce costs, lower carbon emissions, and improve efficiencies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that project quality, customer satisfaction, and safety meet the highest standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reduce risk.
  • Develop and manage cost plans in line with company objectives.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership in safety and contract management.
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation plans.
  • Manage and develop a project management team.

Skills and Characteristics:

Essential:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior management role.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong awareness of the practical implementations and management of Health, Safety and Environmental regulation
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, team-building, and staff management abilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings for electrical, mechanical, and facilities.
  • Experience in major capital projects
  • Budget management and costing model experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience of delivering renewable energy, (CHP) Combined Heat and Power plants, steam boiler replacements and or/refrigeration or infrastructure projects
