Role Overview & Responsibilities

You will be based at our Manchester city centre office where we have 120 people working across a range of disciplines, including Architecture, Project Management, Cost Management and Engineering.

Our technical facilities portfolio is world class and we have recently secured several exciting new projects. Within the architectural team, we also have a wealth of experience at designing manufacturing and F1 Teams facilities, education buildings, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, defence, infrastructure, offices, and private one-off commissions which results in a diverse and exciting practice.

As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Architectural Technicians to join our skilled Architecture team (over 100 Architects), working on workplace design projects for high profile design clients across multiple sectors, each presenting their own design opportunities and responses.

<br><br>

Production of Technical drawings and details and BIM coordination.

<br>Assistance with formulating and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues as required.

<br>Carry out studies and design proposals for review.

<br>Co-operate with other members of the design team.

<br>Work closely with clients to understand goals and to develop and support viable solutions.

<br>Ensure design proposals conform to the latest planning policies, building regulations and technical standard.

<br>Preparation of detailed design/ technical drawings and specifications.

<br>Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines.

<br>Managing planning applications, Building Regulations.

<br>Inspection of building work on site.

<br>Develop customer relationships to find additional opportunities to address their challenges.

Technical design experience required

<br>Must be proficient in Revit.

<br>BIM management Dynamo grasshopper is beneficial.

<br>Visualisation experience in Enscape Lumion and Rhino experience is beneficial.

<br>Ability to express ideas effectively, orally, graphically and in writing.

<br>Knowledge of UK best practice standards.

<br><br>

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating a high-level diligence and organisational skills.
