Are you customer focussed, have a passion for working with people, an interest in library services and digital resources?

As a Library Assistant based in our book department at Library HQ in Northallerton, you will support the delivery of frontline library and information services to ensure a high quality service. You will deal with email and telephone enquiries, including assisting customers to access online information and resources.

You will also cover a wide range of duties including stock acquisitions, library management systems reports and managing performance databases.

You will be passionate about reading, have excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a team including volunteers, the ability to deliver a customer focussed service, and have literacy, numeracy and ICT equivalent to Level 2.

Please note this post is based in our Bibliographic Services department, not in Northallerton Library.
