Role Overview & Responsibilities

Technical Operator Setter

Liverpool based

Salary: £38,200 basic plus, 5% pension, 25 days holiday, private medial

Shifts 4 on 6 off, including an 18 day break

6-6 (days & nights)

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Operator Setter to join the team at global food manufacturing company in Liverpool.

Key responsibilities:

  • To set up packaging lines and scada system
  • To operate all parts of the packing plant including product preparation, processing, testing & packing and warehouse duties and loading vehicles for customer deliveries,
  • Operate all parts of the main product preparation and process plant to optimise the efficiency of production.
  • Operate all the ancillary operations including chiller, hot water system, compressors etc.
  • Carry out loading of pallets into warehouse racking and picking of orders for loading onto delivery vehicles. Load delivery vehicles in line with customer needs.
  • Ensure all food safety and Quality requirements are met. Work with others to continually improve the Food Safety and Quality systems including completion of internal audits and plant inspections.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and as required by site procedures.
  • Use computerised Maintenance management system to log any faults on the plant
  • Work with reliability technicians to complete maintenance tasks where applicable

Key requirements

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • NVQ Level Education or equivalent
  • Food/ Chemical/ Process/ or manufacturing background preferred.
