Role Overview & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Directorate at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. Ward 31 is currently looking for a Registered Nursing Associate who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being an organised person with a positive attitude and who also is flexible and proactive. You must be dedicated and passionate about providing the best possible care for our patients and will share our vision and values in best practice.

Ward 31 is a vibrant, friendly, modern, forward thinking ward which promotes evidence based high standards of patient care and with the support of the Orthopaedic Practice Development Team we are always looking for new initiatives to improve patient experiences and outcomes. Professional development is paramount and all staff are encouraged to fulfil their potential and you will have ample opportunity to learn and develop yourself within your role, including the opportunity to complete the 2 year top up programme to qualify as a RN.

Ward 31 is a busy Orthopaedic trauma ward which specialises in providing care to patients who have experienced trauma requiring emergency surgery, such as those patients with fractured neck of femurs, complicated dislocations, and neck and spinal injuries.
