Role Overview & Responsibilities
Macduff Shipyards have facilities in Macduff, Buckie and Fraserburgh and cater for vessels offering design and production as well as repairs and refits.
We will shortly be recruiting Apprentices to join our various departments. We offer 4 or 5 year Modern Apprenticeships for Engineers, Welders and Machinists and 4 year Apprenticeships for Carpenters and Joiners. Your Apprenticeship is composed of on the job training and College work where you will have the opportunity to gain a SVQ Level 3.
You should be organised and a good communicator with the ability to use your own initiative as well as work well in a team. You should also possess good practical skills and be conscientious and reliable.
