Role Overview & Responsibilities

Are you looking to kick-start your legal career in an award-winning national law firm? We are looking for a Paralegal who will be committed to delivering the best outcome for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills and gain responsibility for managing your own caseload of property litigation files. You will benefit from our comprehensive training and will be given the support you need to succeed. You will join our Paralegal salary structure where your salary will be reviewed at six monthly intervals as you gain further experience and when you are ready, there are plenty of opportunities to progress your career.

About the role:

  • Proactively managing your own caseload of property litigation files , dealing with boundary disputes, nuisance claims etc within a team of case handlers
  • Advising the client and/or our worksource on the best course of action for claims
  • Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses, solicitors and other parties;
  • Pursuing claims effectively and making full use of our case management system;
  • Complying with agreed client service standards and internal targets;
  • Dealing with any other administration as required.


About you
:

Essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Ability to analyse and research legal issues and use your initiative;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Effective team player; good organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach

Desirable:

  • Law degree or CILEx studies are preferable
  • Previous case handling experience is an advantage, but full training will be given.
