Role Overview & Responsibilities

LSBU are looking for a capable technical administrator to positively contribute to an effective and smoothly running Technical Support Services department. This is a key role that will provide high level administrative support to the Head of Technical Support Services, and the senior management team on a range of operational, and special projects.


About you

You will have a wealth of practical administrative experience gained in a work-based setting, including the ability to effectively plan and schedule events, undertake procurement related tasks and confidently assist with the preparation of key technical documents.

As an integral member of our technical team, you will be working in a technology rich environment with colleagues who have a real passion for their roles, and for sharing that knowledge.


You will be actively involved in supporting our ongoing Technician Commitment initiatives and will work with colleagues on the development of the department’s public-facing media.


The skills and experience you will need to be successful.

Advanced knowledge of core MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook. Intermediate skill in using Excel to create bespoke systems for reporting, tracking, and evaluating data for project based or service level activities.


Excellent organisational and administrative skills, being able to demonstrate the use of your own initiative including being able to plan and prioritise a varied workload, whilst maintain a commitment to excellence in customer service.
