Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Buyer/Planner, based in Amsterdam, will be responsible for all purchasing activities to support our manufacturing operation in Amsterdam. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, process-driven, and enjoy working in a fast-pasted startup environment. They will bring enthusiasm to support implementing standard processes and best practices to help Locus scale for growth.


Job Description
  • Lead and manage a team of customer support representatives in EMEA, ensuring that they are providing exceptional support to our customers.
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Engineering, Sales, and Operations, to ensure that we are meeting our customer's needs.
  • Develop and implement customer support processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer support metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations to provide updates on support issues and communicate new product features and enhancements.
  • Work with the Locus Robotics training team to ensure that our customer support representatives are trained on new products and services.
  • Ensure that our customer support team is up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer support or related field.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or robotics is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (German, Italian, Spanish) are a plus.
