Production Assembler

We’re hiring for a Production Operative to join the UK’s largest manufacturer of LED-based solutions for retail spaces, exhibitions, and commercial interiors based in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

Supplying their bespoke goods into companies including Schuh, Samsung, Primark, Pure Gym, and Hugo Boss, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly production team based at their modern, clean, manufacturing facility.

What’s on offer?

• £11.00 per hour + bonus scheme
• 7:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday / 1:15 pm finish on Friday
• Regular overtime available at enhanced rates
• All tools provided
• Weekly pay
• Full training provided (including H&S qualifications where applicable)

What will you be doing as a Production Operative?

• Joining a very experienced production team, your role will require the assembly of office interior solutions used for private meeting spaces
• Using a range of hands tools to safely handle, cut, and install glass
• Cutting materials to required sizes and supporting trades people with assembly tasks

What do you need?

• A minimum of one years’ experience in a production / warehouse environment
• The ability to read production drawings
• A high attention to detail and accuracy in reading measurements
• The ability to learn new practical skills in a fast paced environment

What’s nice to have?

• Experience working with glass
• Fabric upholstery, or any carpentry experience
• Hands on trade type experience
