THE GOAL:

Join KellyDeli, a leading Asian food brand, and be part of the exciting journey at 'Kelly's Market,' the first open kiosk in the UK. As a Kitchen Porter, your role will involve efficiently preparing and assisting the team in delivering exceptional food experiences. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, organizing stockroom items, and ensuring smooth operations.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Collaborate with a dynamic team, fostering correct and proper communication and cooperation. You will report directly to the Chef, contributing to a harmonious work environment.

WHAT THEY DO:

Responsibilities:

• Follow strict food safety procedures and adhere to hygiene rules.
• Ensure the kitchen is well-prepared for the next day's trade.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workplace and equipment.
• Organize and manage food storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
• Receive deliveries and efficiently organize them in the kitchen and storage areas.
• Provide support to the Chef in basic food preparation tasks such as cutting ingredients, peeling, and washing food items.
• Assist Chefs and other kitchen staff as needed.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE A SUSHI CHEF?

Requirements:

• Prepare products according to our quality standards.
• Create memorable customer experiences.
• Follow the Kelly Deli menu book diligently.
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately.
• Support the training and development of other team members.

Experience:

• Customer-friendly demeanor.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter preferred.

Job Types:

• Part-time (20 to 25 hours per week)
• Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £10.00-£10.50 per hour

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person at Kelly's Market, the first open kiosk in the UK.
