Grab A Laptop (Solent Laptops) is a major re-seller of well-known branded Laptop computer products in the consumer electronics industry. Our Head office is based in Farlington Portsmouth, where we refurbish, prepare and dispatch over 200 items daily.
Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an additional IT Technician/PC Installer to join our fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with and aiding our current IT Technicians in their everyday work, building knowledge of our business and the way we do things, leading towards taking on regular day-to-day workloads & contributing to our daily tasks quota.
Role responsibilities
- Sourcing the correct item from stock to complete each order required
- Ensuring the correct memory configuration & Hard Drive is installed
- Installing the correct Operating System
- Running a full PC Check using our bespoke PC Installing & Testing Software
- Ensuring any additional options such as Microsoft Office & Anti-Virus are added
- Checking the item is in an acceptable condition for sale
- Replacing any parts/plastics which are deemed unacceptable for resale

Alongside this, the successful candidate will have a competitive salary between £23,000 - £26,000 DOE, plus training and development opportunities.
