Barista - Kingston Hospital (Costa) - Full Time (37.5 hours)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Barista to join our team at our Costa Coffee shop located in Kingston Hospital. The successful applicant will be required to be available to work any 5 of the 7 days in the week, (including day shifts, afternoon shifts, evening shifts, night shifts). Living near Kingston Hospital is recommended.

Duties include the operation of a Barista machine, serving a range of speciality coffees, some basic food preparation, counter service, cash handling and vending.

This job is subject to a three-month probationary period.

Successful applicants must have:

·Good communication skills and knowledge and experience of using a Barista coffee machine.

·A Basic Food Hygiene certificate is desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to promote a welcoming environment where colleagues, clients and customers receive great service.

·Costa Maestro training would be a distinct advantage.

Experience of working in a catering environment is desirable but not essential, as additional training for this role will be given.

Basic Rate £10.60 per hour plus an additional £2.34 paid up to 37.5 hours per week
