We are looking for an experienced GIS Consultant to support a new programme team working on the evaluation, selection, procurement, establishment and administering of a new GIS platform (ideally based on ESRI technology). Acting as the GIS SME you will be support the evaluation and procurement process through the preparation of associated documentation including use cases / user stories, providing advice, consultation, and the delivery of training.
About You:
We are looking for a GIS manager who has 5+ years experience in Geographical Information Systems, including driving best practice and outcomes. You will have previously undertaken the delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects and be an expert user of ESRI ArcGIS software. You will have a good understanding of ISO 19650 and be competent with the use standard IT systems and Microsoft Office software.
You will need excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to help navigate competing stakeholder objectives successfully while maintaining productive and professional working relationships.
It would also be great if you had experience within the utilities sector, giving you knowledge of all stages of the construction and infrastructure project lifecycle.
