Role Overview & Responsibilities

IDEXX is seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on Warehouse Coordinator , to be based in Wetherby, UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual who is not afraid to take on responsibility, show initiative and can improve our business. As a Warehouse Coordinator you are responsible for our Warehouse operations at the Wetherby Laboratory.

To ensure that IDEXX Facilities infrastructure, processes, and services meet the evolving needs of the business, we will be a strategic partner and service provider of choice for the business teams. We will strive to achieve operational agility and flexibility, high employee engagement, cost excellence, and safe, sustainable operations.

<br><br>

<b>In this Role you will:</b><br>

Receive all goods into stores including samples from courier companies and taken to Lab for processing

<br>Ensure archive is well kept and free of obstructions, report any faults to Facilities Manager

<br>Assist in delivery of new equipment to the Lab and arrange disposal of old equipment when necessary

<br>Assist departments when disposing of Wax blocks and slides to Clinical waste

<br>Ensure all goods are booked on SAP and distributed to different departments

<br>Communicate delivery issues without Procurement team using the Smartsheet tool

<br>Stock Checks / Inventory Control

<br>Order of all General stock used across the Lab

<br>Work with technical departments to assume more responsibility for Lab ordering

<br>Rotate stock and communicate any out-of-date issues/Overstocking issues to stakeholders

<br>Collect clinical waste across all departments daily and dispose of in correct waste streams

<br>Clean and 5s of the Warehouse and appropriate records maintained

<br>Clean of the Cold-room and fridges in the warehouse and appropriate records maintained

<br>Stock rotation and inventory control of the chemical storage cabinet

<br>Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment in the stores area

<br>Maintain risk assessments for the Warehouse and other work areas and ensure the warehouse and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy

<br>Maintain and clean the external chemical storage unit

<br>Support the Quality Department in compliance on management standards

<br>Identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and costs savings

<b>What You Will Need to Succeed:</b><br>

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision

<br>You will have strong communication/customer service skills both verbal and written

<br>Confident in using Excel and Word also SAP (training will be given)

<br>The ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task

<br>The ability to assess and define problems with a variety of variables, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

<br>The ability to read and interpret documents and instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

<br>The ability to write reports and correspondence
