Role Overview & Responsibilities

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Stock Controller to join our team in Bolton, for our customer, the leading electronics company, Currys.


You will be working on ‘4 on 4 off’ shift pattern with the hours of 07:00 19:00, contracted to 40.25 hours per week.

What you will do on a typical day:


  • Liaise with all departments regarding shortages, damages, and stock transfers
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of stock and independently solve the issues
  • Investigate inbound stock discrepancies
  • Actively find suitable resolution relating to stock issues


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Must have a can-do attitude and the ability to deal with difficult situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is desirable
