Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our amazing nursing team on Panther Ward to help provide a high level of nursing care and positive patient experiences.

Panther Ward is a 14 bedded ward that cares for patients of all ages undergoing Ear Nose & Throat surgery, Plastic surgery, Cleft Lip and Palate surgery, Maxillofacial, ophthalmology & dental surgery, as well as caring for self-ventilating patients with artificial airways including tracheostomies. We have a very high turnover of patients and various specialities making every day different. We have an High Dependency Unit on the ward, providing an opportunity for all to learn new skills, we are currently looking to expand the capacity.
