GrassPlant are currently searching for an enthusiastic person to join our greenkeeping team at Brent Valley and Perivale Park Golf Courses.
The role is for a seasonal greenkeeper on a 6 month contract ideally starting in April and running through to the end of September. No previous experience is required although it would be prefered. All we ask is for a willingness to learn. The position will provide you will full training.
About Us
GrassPlant are a company specialising in turf maintenance across multiple different sites ranging from golf courses to football pitches, leisure centres and more across London and Hertfordshire. We manage the maintenance of the golf courses at Brent Valley and Perivale Park on behalf of the site operator, Everyone Active. Both golf courses are public and are located within 2 miles of one another.
The Role
The role will include but is not limited to the following:
- Preparing the golf course for daily play
- Operating and maintaining specialist equipment for upkeep of the playing surfaces
- Maintenance of golf course bunkers
- Tree maintenance
- Mowing greens, fairways, rough and tees using ride on machinery
- Strimming
- Tractor works
- General tidying and presentation of the courses
The hours of work are from 6am-2pm Monday to Friday, plus weekend availability for overtime on a rota, typically one weekend a month.
The Candidate
Successful candidates will possess the following qualities:

- The ability to work on their own or part of a team
- Good communication skills
- An attention to detail
- The ability to follow instructions carefully
Ideally the candidate would also possess a full UK driving license or be located within easy access to both sites.
