Role Overview & Responsibilities

Formula 1 have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic and talented motion graphic designer to join the Creative Media team, who are responsible for producing video content for internal and external clients.
Main duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Conceptualise, design and create exciting, dynamic and engaging motion graphics.
  • Produce scamps, storyboards and style frames for discussion with senior creatives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with other creatives to collaborate and generate ideas.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external company brand guidelines.
  • Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organisation of graphical assets/libraries etc.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Keen to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Problem-solving and willing to learn new technologies or skills.
  • Keep abreast with the latest graphic design trends, techniques and plug-ins.
  • Actively follow and monitor the world of Formula 1.
  • Work occasional race weekends at the Media & Technical Centre in Biggin Hill, along with additional hours when required.
  • To operate safely always in line with Company health and safety requirements.
  • To undertake other duties within your capabilities as your Department Head or Team Manager may assign to you from time-to-time.
  • To complete all mandatory training within specified timelines.
