Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our team of hundreds of skilled experts keep Formula 1 moving. You could play a vital part as Graphic Designer to create branding documents for F1 sponsors, mock-ups, and creative content for digital advertising.
Reporting into the Senior Commercial Producer / Team Manager, you will:
Support the Commercial Media team and Executive Producer. Including, and not limited to:
- Create in situ mock-ups of circuit signage for Formula 1 race events
- Produce print-ready artwork files
- Create animations for LED screens
- Create, maintain and publish signage location drawings and supporting documentation
- Maintain brand libraries and client artwork, adding assets into a content management system
- Review designs for errors prior to publication
- Be creative and actively come up with new ideas for projects
- Support Signage producers on branding projects
- Working race weekends, along with additional hours when required
Specification:
- A-levels / BTEC National Diploma and / or degree in graphic design or other art / design related discipline
- Experience and a strong portfolio showing a wide range of work can be provided in lieu of qualifications
- Adequate experience designing and producing digital or print graphics
- Strong knowledge of Adobe CS software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects)
- Proven ability of visualizing creative concepts to an excellent standard
- Proactive in initiating ideas with backed up logic and thought
- Solid understanding of design principles, with ability to accept instruction
- Ability to work well under pressure and have excellent time management skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Adobe CS Premiere
- Worked in a live broadcast environment
- Worked with TV LED advertising systems
- Ability to illustrate new ideas through sketches or mock-ups
- A passion and knowledge of Formula 1
