We are seeking a Security Officer for a modern student accommodation for an immediate start in READING, RG1.
Night shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis. £11.53 per hour.
The successful candidate will have a valid front line SIA licence, a friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills.
The role is to provide a safe and secure environment for student accommodation in Reading.
Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Night shifts - 4 on 4 off.
- Must be computer literate.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to buildings at all times.
- Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc as requested.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
- Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation.
- Access / Egress control.
- Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system.
- Key Holding responsibilities.
- Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks.
- Adhering to policies and procedures at all times.
- General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site.
- Provide a high standard of customer service.
- Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos.
- Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.
Nights on a 4 on 4 off basis
- Mon-Thurs 22:00-09:00
- Friday 22:00-07:00
- Sat 19:00-07:00
- Sun 19:00-09:00
Essential Requirements:
- Valid SIA Licence.
- Commitment to providing first class customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliability.
- Punctuality.
