Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a full time Bottling and Warehouse Technician to join our team at our new cask maturation warehouse in Glenrothes. On-site training will be provided and progression opportunities will be forthcoming as the business grows.

Salary: Base Salary of £26,500.

Location – Glenrothes (onsite)

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Day Shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Filling, labelling, capping of all bottles, ensuring spirit quality, compliance and integrity are at the forefront of every decision
  • Cask warehouse operations such as re-gauging, re-racking and cask integrity inspection.
  • To maximise the effective use of resources to carry out all warehouse operations in line with business goals and objectives
  • Maintain integrity and security of warehouse operations in accordance with H.M. Customs and Excise requirements
  • Stock management and rotation of bottled & dry goods
  • Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Management of a busy warehouse to consolidate casks, pallets and IBCs through use of a forklift
  • Responsible for the management of goods incoming and out
  • Responsible for completion of the HACCPP folder – daily entry

Skillset

  • Technical and hands-on practical ability
  • Relevant forklift experience is preferable
  • Self-motivated – ability to remain motivated when working by themselves
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
  • High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
  • Ability to cope with change in a growing business

Personal Requirements

  • Experience in a warehousing environment
  • Experience working logistically or manually with spirits is preferred
  • UK Driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Communicate effectively across business using a variety of communication mediums
