Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a full time Bottling and Warehouse Technician to join our team at our new cask maturation warehouse in Glenrothes. On-site training will be provided and progression opportunities will be forthcoming as the business grows.
Salary: Base Salary of £26,500.
Location – Glenrothes (onsite)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Day Shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Filling, labelling, capping of all bottles, ensuring spirit quality, compliance and integrity are at the forefront of every decision
- Cask warehouse operations such as re-gauging, re-racking and cask integrity inspection.
- To maximise the effective use of resources to carry out all warehouse operations in line with business goals and objectives
- Maintain integrity and security of warehouse operations in accordance with H.M. Customs and Excise requirements
- Stock management and rotation of bottled & dry goods
- Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Management of a busy warehouse to consolidate casks, pallets and IBCs through use of a forklift
- Responsible for the management of goods incoming and out
- Responsible for completion of the HACCPP folder – daily entry
Skillset
- Technical and hands-on practical ability
- Relevant forklift experience is preferable
- Self-motivated – ability to remain motivated when working by themselves
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
- High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
- Ability to cope with change in a growing business
Personal Requirements
- Experience in a warehousing environment
- Experience working logistically or manually with spirits is preferred
- UK Driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Communicate effectively across business using a variety of communication mediums
